Gracious words from fellow journeyers

“Rosslyn has a remarkable talent for creating a compassionate space where you can freely delve into your hopes, joys, fears, and more. Unconsciously I feared exploring certain aspects of my inner world, but with Rosslyn, I've discovered that those places are always met with love and compassion. My life has been profoundly influenced by the ability to cultivate self-compassion and even gratitude for the parts of myself that I had previously resented. Through the sessions with Rosslyn, I have encountered self-acceptance, enabling me to embrace more facets of who I am. Consequently, I have been able to leverage my strengths, leading me to tackle new challenges at work and experience a greater sense of peace overall. I am immensely grateful for Rosslyn's guidance in embarking on this internal exploration, which consistently yields more love and compassion.”

“Having Rosslyn as my Coach was the best experience! Rosslyn helped me with many things I didn't even know I was struggling with. I always left our sessions with a feeling of relief and amazement of how great I felt and continued to feel throughout the week. Rosslyn's calm demeanor really helped me feel safe. When I started seeing Rosslyn I was not in a good place and it was great having support. I was going through a lot of health issues while working full-time, and as a Latina woman it was great to have someone where I could reflect about my culture too. Rosslyn helped me with my career fears that I experienced at a young age. Her helpfulness in overcoming that barrier to heal myself and setting time aside each day to draw, use clay, and to sit with uncomfortable feelings is what I cherish. I am extremely pleased with the progress I have made in the short amount of time I have spent with Rosslyn.”

“Rosslyn radiated warmth (which I felt even from across a Zoom screen) and created a safe and welcoming space for me to open up about my fears and self-doubts. She is a careful listener who is able to zoom in on my negative thought patterns and tease out the assumptions behind them. She nudged me to be curious about why I act in certain ways and to question if the behaviour is serving me or not. I like how she explained the theory behind some of the approaches she used during coaching, such as the Eneagram, and also provided me with very useful reading materials on these. I also appreciate how Rosslyn is very sensitive to my energy and voice levels, and offered me precious insights into how I show up in my body. Some of her observations allowed me to see myself in a new light and reconnect with parts of myself that I have forgotten or neglected. All in all, I am very thankful for her cheerful encouragement and the quality of her attention.”

“Rosslyn's summaries, observations, and questions guided me in going deeper and picking exactly the right places that needed attention. Also, I loved her voice and the compassion in it. It helped to create a warm space where I can cry and connect to myself. I enjoyed this type of attention on my body, the smooth spot-on questions and observations, I like the method of checking what the body says, asks for, whether it's friendly or not, how do we treat it. The biggest takeaway is the realization that my body is acting as my protector in times of stress. I wouldn't have had these realizations without this session. For me, this was a life-changing experience.”

“The session was positive and productive. I learned new skills for working through periods of very intense emotions. I liked being able to be open and honest with Rosslyn in sharing my experiences and my story. I liked the somatic aspects of it, and having time to process and review the different events in a compact time period. It absolutely supported me; the actual work being done and her compassionate presence were very powerful for me. Rosslyn was fully present, I could be myself and have my own experience and be supported. I appreciate also the extended support in the follow-up emails; her recognition of me and the actions that help ease my process.”
